Our new branch, situated under the Provigo grocery store, will allow Home Care Assistance to better serve the tightly knit community of TMR as well as the north-west. Being a local presence in the community is very important to HCA. In addition, the new office will serve as a recruiting and training center for caregiving staff in support of our continued growth.
With its classroom facility, our TMR location will also host “Mind Fit” sessions for seniors with cognitive issues or those who might be at risk of developing cognitive decline. “Mind Fit” is part of HCA’s Cognitive Therapeutics Method (CTM), a science-based cognitive stimulation program that works to delay the effects of cognitive decline. CTM can be administered one-on–one in the home or in group settings as part of the Mind Fit program.
The official opening date for Home Care Assistance TMR is scheduled for July 1, 2018. The finishing touches are close to completion and operations should be ramping up slowly over the coming weeks.
